fleetcompetence Group supports German industrial company in consolidating its European fleet
Fleetcompetence Group started a fleet consolidation project in March. A German industrial company is supported. It operates fleets in Western Europe. The aim of the project is to analyse the potential for optimization in the area of fleet suppliers, in a first step in 6 markets. To this end, fleet and supplier data are collected in a uniform methodology in the six markets. After a validation of the data, benchmarking is then carried out to determine the potential for cost reductions as part of consolidation. For this purpose, the car policies of the countries are examined in detail. The findings are then summarized in a report for the Management Board. The various measures are examined for their impact on costs and policies. "This is a typical international consulting project for us", explains Thilo v. Ulmenstein, Managing Partner fleetcompetence Group. "More and more companies are recognizing the potential for a international fleet strategy. We support them in decision-making, through our efficient analysis. Thus, the learning curve remains flat and rapid implementation of measures is guaranteed. In the implementation, mostly through international tenders, we accompany our customers as well.
